Frequently Asked Questions

The headset microphone is very quiet – how can I increase the recording level?
To do this, enable ‘Microphone Boost’ or ‘Microphone Boost Control’. In the majority of Windows® systems, you’ll find this function in the Control Panel under the ‘Sound’ option – ‘Recording’; in some cases it may even be located in a submenu. That said, this function might not be available on some systems depending on your sound card.
Why do I find drivers for my headset or speaker system?
Speaker systems and headsets that connect using a jack plug do not require a driver, even when used on a PC/notebook. Only the PC’s soundcard requires a driver, which can be found on the manufacturer’s website.
I have only very little bass.
Please turn off the CMSS-3D function in the software of the soundcard.
the Amplifier causes a buzzing, beeping or clicking sound coming.
nother piece of electrical equipment is interfering with the amp. Try turning off other items one by one until you work out which one it is. Usual culprit is a wireless router, infrared mouse transmitter or mobile phone cradle.
The sound output provides a distorted sound.
This is usually caused by having the in-line volume controls on the headset turned down to low and the volume on the amplifier too high to compensate. Please set the in-line controls to at least 6.
The Center/Sub channels are reversed.
a) Software: Look for Bass Re-direction or similar wording.

b) Hardware:
1) Connect cable A (manual, page 3) to your sound card as usual. Connect the front and rear channels to the amplifier box.
2) Connect the the other end of the sub/center 3.5mm jack plug of cable A to cable C.
3) Connect cable C with cable B, so that the white RCA plug is coupled to the red RCA connector, and vice versa.
4) Connect cable B to the sub/center input of the amplifier box.
