Operation

To test the gamepad's functions, select 'SPEEDLINK Strike 2 Gamepad' by clicking on Start > Control Panel > Game Controllers. There you can check the functions of the various buttons as well as the control sticks.

Digital & analogue mode

The Analog button allows you to switch to the control sticks' X and Y axes mode. This allows you to control the all-round view in many games. In digital mode, the left control stick is swapped with the right control stick. Analogue mode is activated as soon as the red LED illuminates.

Rapid-fire

Proceed as follows to assign rapid-fire to a button: press and hold the Turbo button, then press the button you want to assign rapid-fire to. In rapid-fire mode, the assigned action is continually repeated until the button is released. To clear the function, press the Clear button at the same time as pressing the button you assigned rapid-fire to.

Automatic fire

To assign automatic fire to a gamepad button, press and hold the Auto button and press the button you want to assign automatic fire to. In automatic fire mode, the assigned action is continually repeated until the button is pressed again. To clear the function, press the Clear button at the same time as pressing the button you assigned automatic fire to.

Vibration function

The gamepad has internal motors which only work with games that support vibration functions. Please read the manual that accompanied your particular game for compatibility information. If problems persist, check in the game’s options menu to see if the vibration function has been activated.

Note:

Make sure that your games software supports gamepads. In order to be able to use the vibration function, check to see if your games software can utilise it. If you find that some buttons do not work during a game, check the gamepad configuration again in the Control Panel.
