With flowing lines, comfortable finger mouldings and a fully rubberised finish, the PRIME Gaming Mouse offers ambitious gamers all the comfort they could wish for – and the precision they always need thanks to its highly precise 3200dpi laser sensor. Use the configuration software to customise the PRIME to suit the way you game: assign any commands to the seven buttons including the 4D scroll wheel, create button profiles and define command sequences using the macro editor. At the same time, you’ll always know which dpi and profile settings you’re using thanks to the multi-coloured LED indicator bar.

How do I assign macros or other functions to the mouse buttons? How do I use button profiles?
In the ‘Button settings’ menu, you can assign any function or macro to the mouse buttons. Click the drop-down menu next to a button and select the desired function or a macro by its name. In the left-hand area you can assign a name to the button profile you’ve created; confirm this by pressing ‘Enter’. You can edit this afterwards by double-clicking it. If the updated button settings are not saved automatically, temporarily select a different profile to save the settings under after you’ve made a change. You can toggle between the five button profiles using the mouse’s profile switch (M).

How do I create and use macros?
In the driver menu, click ‘Macro settings’. You’ll find a list of macros in the left-hand column which are stored onboard the mouse. Click ‘NEW’ to create a macro. Macros can be saved on the hard drive or loaded from there into the mouse’s memory using ‘Import’ and ‘Export’. The KUDOS RS’s driver software includes a set of macros.

Select the macro from the left-hand side and click the Macro Editor window on the right-hand side to create or edit the macro. The first command decides how the macro will execute: once, auto repeat (loop), or repeatedly for as long as the button is held depressed (fire-button mode) – click ‘Change’ to switch between the modes.
Now use the mouse to drag the symbols for the desired commands to the Macro Editor window. The symbols stand for (from top to bottom): Wait, Press & hold key, Release key, Press & hold mouse button, Release mouse button, Wheel scrolling. Follow the displayed instructions to configure the desired command. Alternatively you can simply record a macro by clicking the red record button on the bottom left; click it again to end recording. You can change the macro order using the two arrow symbols beneath the Macro Editor window – and edit or delete the selected macros using the buttons to the side. ‘Clear’ deletes all the commands in the selected macro; ‘Save’ sends the macro to the mouse’s memory.

Why can’t I change the left mouse button’s function?
You can only change the left mouse button assignment if you’ve assigned the left-click function to another button. This ensures that the important left-click function is always available on at least one of the buttons.
