My gamepad, joystick, or racing wheel is not working. How can I check its functionality?

In Windows®, search under Settings for “Set up USB game controllers.” Your device should be listed there.
Double-click the device name in the list of installed game controllers to open the Properties window.
Here, you can test all functions of the input device.
Also check whether the correct mode for your game is selected.
If the device does not appear or does not work at all, please contact our support team.

My racing wheel does not work on my PS4®

To make the racing wheel work on your PS4®, you must connect a PS4® controller to the wheel.

My racing wheel does not work on my Xbox One®

Please note that the TRAILBLAZER must be connected to the Xbox One® console via the USB cable.
In an early version of the included manual, this information was missing — we apologize for that oversight.

With some versions of the Xbox One S® and its corresponding gamepads, compatibility issues may still occur.
In this case, please download the TRAILBLAZER firmware update program from the SPEEDLINK website at www.speedlink.com.
Use a Windows PC to update the internal software of the wheel.
After completing the firmware update, the TRAILBLAZER should work properly again with your Xbox One S®.

Why does the racing wheel only work partially or not at all in some games?

Hold the “MODE” button for three seconds to switch between the two operating modes of the wheel:

XInput (for most modern games)
DirectInput (for older and some newer games)

If the red LED (left) is lit, the wheel is in DirectInput mode.
If the green LED (right) is lit, the wheel is in XInput mode.

How do I adjust the steering sensitivity?

Hold the “SELECT/SHARE” and “START/OPTIONS” buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds, until the green LED lights up.
Press “SELECT/SHARE.” The blinking speed of the green LED shows the current sensitivity:
Slow blinking = Low sensitivity
Medium blinking = Medium sensitivity
Fast blinking = High sensitivity
Cycle through the sensitivity levels by pressing “SELECT/SHARE.”
Confirm the selected sensitivity by pressing the D-Pad up — the green LED will turn off.

Why does my steering wheel respond with a delay?

A small dead zone is intentional — about 15 degrees.
This dead zone exists because some games apply a negative dead zone.
Without this small delay, the wheel might steer in the opposite direction of the intended input.

Where can I find the driver?

Go to the Downloads tab on our website.
Please always use the latest driver version available.

Why doesn’t the wheel work even though it’s connected to the console’s gamepad?

Please make sure to use a USB cable that supports data transfer.
You can test this by connecting an external hard drive to your computer using the same cable.
If the drive is recognized, the cable supports data transfer.
