The USB sound card is not recognized; after connecting it, I receive the message: “Device driver software was not installed, please contact the manufacturer.”
Please first check your motherboard’s system drivers for updates. If necessary, update your chipset and controller drivers. In particular, outdated IDE/SATA and PCI-E drivers can cause the sound card driver to malfunction. Afterwards, let Windows search for updated USB sound drivers.
